Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. (PPPI), Davao Reyer Transport Services Corp. and Davao Metro Shuttle Corp. recently signed a long-term contract for PPPI to be the transport company’s exclusive oil supplier.

Phoenix Petroleum AVP-Fuel Sales Vis-Min Edgardo Alerta and Davao Reyer President De Carlo Uy led the signing of the 10-year exclusive supply contract on March 3 at Waterfront Insular Hotel, Davao City.

Phoenix Petroleum will supply all fuel and lubricants requirements of Davao Reyer, one of the largest bus companies in southern Mindanao. PPPI will supply, install, and maintain fuel equipment at Davao Reyer’s garages in Tagum City and Ecoland, Davao City.

“This is the beginning of a strong partnership between Phoenix Petroleum and our company,” said Davao Reyer President De Carlo Uy.

Phoenix Petroleum AVP-Fuel Sales Vis-Min Edgardo Alerta said, “We are happy that with Davao Reyer, we are able to serve more motorists and passengers in Mindanao. We are looking forward to other means of partnership with the company.”

Davao-based Phoenix Petroleum is engaged in the business of trading refined petroleum products, lubricants and other chemical products, operation of oil depots and storage facilities, and allied services. In 2007, PPPI became the first independent oil company to list on the Philippine Stock Exchange after the passage of the Oil Deregulation Law in 1998.
